Azolla floating pond plant is also referred to as Fairy moss. This floating pond plant is a true fern having leaves that are finely toothed. Azolla will turn red during the spring and again in fall when water temperatures are cooler. This attractive floating pond plant will grow in damp soil or on moist rocks along the ponds edge. To enhance growth, add Microbe-Lift Bloom and Grow. Usually covers 1 to 2 square feet of surface area.
