Anacharis Imported | Egeria densa (Elodea)
Imported Anacharis, Egeria Densa, also known as Elodea is the same as our wild collected Anacharis, but imported from overseas when the wild collected is not available. A popular submerged plant for use in science experiments. It is a fast growing submerged plant that competes with algae for nutrients, helping keep the water clean and clear. Use one bunch for every 2-4 square feet of surface area. It is not necessary to plant Anacharis, simply attach weights to the bunch of plants and they will sink to the bottom of the pond and grow towards the surface. Imported Anacharis (Egeria Densa) is illegal in the following states - AL, CT, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MT, NE, NH, NY, OH, OR, SC, VT, WA, WI
