Antares | Red Night Blooming Tropical Water Lily

Antares is a beautiful magenta red night blooming tropical waterlily with 7" - 8" flowers. The leaves are dark bronze. This night blooming water lily is very free flowering. A beautiful addition to your water garden. Consider Jennifer Rebecca if you live in the south where temperatures are consistently above 90 degrees. If you live in the south where temperatures are consistently above 90 degrees you will find many of the red lily flowers will burn, resembling a burnt candle wick. Jennifer Rebecca was hybridized by Ken Landon, where temperatures are often above 90 degrees, he needed a red water lily for his display tank, so he hybridized this beautiful night bloomer, which is not affected by the high temperatures like so many of the other red lilies.
