Black Magic Taro has burgundy stems with dark plum leaves that appear black. The leaves are heart shaped grow up to 3 feet in length. This taro grows about 2' to 3' tall and performs best when planted in partial shade, although it will tolerate full sun. Black Magic Taro is a perfect accent plant for the edge of the pond. In cold regions, over winter as a houseplant or lift tubers and store in a frost free area.
