Requires pIanting in silt, substrate, loam soil, up to 50% sand. Do not pIant in stone. Very easy to grow, prefers oxygenated water by either slightest movement or aeration somewhere within 2 feet. Can grow 1 foot or deeper prefers 1 to 3 feet deep and may go deeper if enough light and oxygen to grow exist at lower levels. Very winter hardy. Good for all ponds without ducks or large koi as they both enjoy eating this plant.
Goldfish are not an issue with vaIIisneria.
