Floating-Leaf Pond Plants for Shallow Water and Container Gardens
Lily-like aquatic plants grow similarly to traditional water lilies, with rooted systems planted in soil and placed 3" to 8" below the water’s surface, while their leaves and flowers float gracefully on top. These versatile plants are well suited for container water gardens, shallow bog areas, stream beds, or tucked between rocks along pond edges, adding beauty and natural texture to any water feature. Easy to incorporate into a variety of pond designs, they offer the classic floating look in more compact or flexible planting options. Please note: customers in California, Arizona, and Puerto Rico will receive bare-root plants only, as potted plants with soil cannot be shipped to these states due to agricultural regulations.
